Fear doesn't travel well; just as it can warp judgment, its absence can diminish memory's truth. What terrifies one generation is likely to bring only a puzzled smile to the next. --Arthur Miller, "Why I Wrote 'The Crucible'", The New Yorker, October 21, 1996

How sad that she died just weeks after what looks like the cure for all known forms of cancer was found.
I noticed that the MSM has been very silent on this discovery. Seems that the patent for the drug (dichloroacetate) has expired as it was only used as a treatment for a rare metabolic disorder. Now big pharma is in a race to make it legal to re-patent a drug for a new use so they can charge cancer patients big bucks for a cure.
Isn’t it a sad comment on humanity that profit would come before the cure for cancer?

Oh, yeah…that was on the news up here just a short time ago. Since my own mom is battling breast cancer, we both found it extremely interesting. I think the solution is to let generics manufacturers manufacture this, minus patent. Or better still, let the government take over….
Oh, and do away with all patenting as far as drugs goes; profit is the root of all evil, especially where meds are concerned!
