Henry Rollins never relents

And in spite of the mechanical gestures and weird camera angles, he’s still talking my language.

I think I’m in love.

  1. Wren says:

“Based on what we have learned through our examination of broadband
connectivity issues and our experience with antitrust and consumer protection issues
more generally, we recommend that policy makers proceed with caution in evaluating
proposals to enact regulation in the area of broadband Internet access. The primary
reason for caution is simply that we do not know what the net effects of potential conduct
by broadband providers will be on all consumers, including, among other things, the
prices that consumers may pay for Internet access, the quality of Internet access and other
services that will be offered, and the choices of content and applications that may be
available to consumers in the marketplace.” — FTC

Laissez-faire is back in vogue and we know how well that works. Corporations never pass on the savings to the consumer. They always pass it onto their profit margins. To think the anti-trust division of the Justice Department or the FTC doesn’t know this is just absurd.

I love this guy–saw his show while i was in community college.
This man’s take on the internet and democracy is spot-on. The oligarchs do want to control and denude the potential of the internet.
Love the ‘Fuck you!’ attitude–strikes right in the face of the prevailing pop-cultural apathy, the Sinfeldian ‘blah’ that has been promoted to increase apathy here in the US. Caring passionately about anything simply isn’t cool for these corporate-manipulated Paris Hiltonians.
