Northampton and Belchertown … wow that’s Massachusetts heartland (Northampton has a very high GLB population).

Northampton used to be a hick smalltown and then people connected to UMass-Amherst and the other colleges started moving there to live, and that includes a huge GLB population. It apparently led to tensions between the two groups, they probably still exists.
