A most historic downfall

On this day in 1937, Canadian participation in the fight against fascism became officially illegal. Here’s a snip from Occupy Canada’s Facebook page:

On this day in history, 31 July, 1937, Canadians were banned in the fight against fascism and the struggle was forced underground. A year later, the fascists were victorious; and two years later, it was too late and the world war against fascism began.

WE REMEMBER! NEVER AGAIN!
