Ronald Reagan and the NRA: Who are the real gun-grabbers?

Jeremy Scahill exposes a period of history that Second Amendment right-wingers would just as soon have us all forget. Namely, that time Ronald Reagan — then governor of California — and the NRA both were heavily in favor of gun control, but only of a very selective kind. The racist kind, of course.

But don’t let them hear you say the r-word. As that clip of Dana Loesch shows, right-wingers are delicate little snowflakes, terribly easily triggered by words that accurately describe them and their ideology: racist, sexist, phobic, and fascist.

And their habit of going out gun-grabbing — oh sorry, “shopping” — every time there’s a massacre and talk of gun control — really speaks to their murderous tendencies, too.
