Oh…how embarrassing. But how totally unsurprising it all is:
You may recall that I said MariCori wasn’t worthy. Well, now you know why. And now you also know why I called her a sycophant.
(And no, silly FUX Snooze reporter lady, MariCori does NOT have “the support of the Venezuelan people”. Not even a little of it. But to understand that, you’d have to ask actual Venezuelans who didn’t fuck off out of their country when the economic going got rough, thanks to US embargoes and all that imperialistic jazz.)
This whole kerfuffle puts MariCori in the same ignominious league as Knut Hamsun, the racist and fascistic Norwegian literary Nobel winner, who “dedicated” his own award to none other than Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister of Germany. He sent Goebbels his medal.
So, I guess this isn’t the first time Norway has come away from a Nobel award ceremony with egg on its face. (Recall that it is the Norwegian Nobel Committee that awards the peace prizes, and that at least one of their members has consorted in the past with Jeffrey Epstein.)
Now, the question is: Who was, or were, the idiot(s) on the committee that decided to award this fucking idiot that fucking joke of a prize? Anyone care to come forward?
